And our guests can enjoy fishing for free, inside the area (about 1 km). The river of Hallingdal is known as one of the best to catch a trout in a lot of fish is catched here duning the summer.

Nesbyen is today an exiting and pleasant small town surrounded by beautiful scenery. The town offers good shopping and service facilities. The mountains and woodland offer abundant possibilities for activities all year round. Nesbyen sports ground is also available for activities. The Hallingdal Folk Museum is situated here and offers a unique collection of old buildings and exiting exhibitions. In addition you can visit “Old Nes” and the meteoric stone crater at Garnås. Not far from Nesbyen you will find the Langedrag Wild Life Park and the Vassfaret Wild Bear Park.

In the winter we can recommend Nesbyen Alpine Centre with excellent slopes and the mountain areas around Nesbyen with over 100 km prepared cross-country skiing tracks.

Sutøya is a peninsula in the Hallingdal River, situated centrally along the Adventure Road – Main Road 7 in beautiful surroundings. We have 100 sites for caravans with electricity and different facilities. The sites are available both summer and winter on a daily basis or for a whole year.
